'The soundtrack of my life' with Ian Todd
The person behind the face behind the voice behind the microphone - get to know our talented presenters.
Introducing the fabulous Ian Todd! Ian has been gracing our air waves for about 4 years, with his unmistakable voice which is just made for radio and his enthusiasm for all things music.
Tell us Ian, what was the first album you ever bought?
I bought an introductory offer of 6 albums from the World Record Club. They were:
James Taylor - "Mud slide slim and the blue horizon"
Black Sabbath - "Masters of reality"
Emerson, Lake and Palmer - "Tarkus"
Santana - "Abraxas"
Pacific Gas and Electric - "PG&E"
The Doors - "LA Woman"
Pretty impressive that Ian is able remember all six albums and their titles! Sounds like a great way to have started off the 'soundtrack to (your) life"...
Tune in to hear Ian Todd and his program "The Soundtrack of my Life" every Thursday afternoon from 4pm - 6pm.
Ian showcases music from the 50’s to the present, plucked from the old grey matter. An eclectic mix of pop, rock, blues, jazz, classical and musical theatre. From the well-known to the obscure, there’s something for everyone. And each 4th Thursday of the month, he features 2 complete albums from the same source of inspiration.
Definitely a show not to be missed!
