  • Provide information and entertainment to your local community.

How to get started

We encourage you to start by listening to our station on 99.7 FM, or if you're in Tolmie on relay 88.7 FM and in Woods Point on 90.1 FM

When you've completed your training and you're ready to be on air without supervision, you may be able to have your own program.

Getting your own show

If you'd like to have your own show - we ask you to chat to a member of our programming committee first, and then send us a program proposal.

What we consider when assessing a show proposal

We welcome applications from all members of the community. Here's what the programming committee will consider before accepting a proposal.

  • Diversity in Programming: We prioritise program proposals that bring content that is relevant to our community and that is not being met by current programming.
  • Community Feedback: We consider the feedback we receive from from the general community and members about our programming when we assess program proposals.
  • Available Time Slot: We ask you to suggest a timeslot with your program proposal or we are happy to provide you with a list of available times. We can only accept proposals for a vacant timeslot.
