March radio play: 'We’ll Meet Again – Act 6: Home Fires'

On “Radio Theatre” throughout March 2023, Radio Mansfield, presents Part One of  “We’ll Meet Again – Act 6: Home Fires” by Mansfield writer Denise Kramaczuk.

We return to our “We’ll Meet Again” saga, following the story of Elsie, working undercover in France and England at the height of World War Two.

Part Six begins as Aussie airmen Jack and Pete fly Elsie, her French grandmother,along with French Resistance fighter Pierre 

and two small orphans over the Channel back to safety in England.

But, with enemy planes ever present, and their landing gear broken, the Aussies have to crash land 

the plane - and their passengers - in a field somewhere near Portsmouth. 

But they’re not out of the woods just yet …
